Kidz Connection

Ages 6-12

Our goal is to partner with parents as they seek to introduce their children to God’s unconditional love, and then to challenge them to grow in their love for Him and His people. Our services are filled with: Bible focused, kid-friendly lessons; kid-style worship; discipleship training; and community outreach opportunities.

This is more than just child care, but it is foundational spiritual formation created with your child in mind. We would love for your children to check out the fun, as they laugh, play, and learn more and more about God's incredible love for their lives.

mirror image Students

We are a group of students who are passionate about God. Mirror Image Wednesday Night services include laughing, eating, and playing games, as well as student-led worship, small groups, and learning truths from the Bible that apply to our lives as students. We meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm. Throughout the year, we also participate in various trips such as Big Creek Missions, Winterfest, Fall Retreat, and Kings Island. For High School and Middle School students, Mirror Image is a place to connect. A place to be loved. And a place to experience a personal relationship with God.

Women's life group

As women, we need a place to be loved, be accepted, and find growth in our walk with Jesus. Every Wednesday at 6:30 pm, we dig deep into the word of God, and find strength in our small groups, as we explore the many facets of what it means to serve God in this day and time. We also connect through various events and retreats throughout the year, all serving to better equip us as women who are living out the Gospel in our daily lives.

Men's Fraternity

This men’s group meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm. We want to be men that are different. Our goal is to challenge men to be the leaders that God created us to be. We are an accountability group that understands that no one runs this life’s race alone and succeeds, and we look at the Bible in open discussion, so that we might be impacted by its powerful words.

Super seniors

Our senior adult ministry, known as Super Seniors In Action, is open to anyone 50 years and older. They meet at the church monthly, and also take different excursions throughout the year. They are also actively involved in outreach ministry, such as donating hundreds of items to the Welcome House ministry on an annual basis. This is a great place to belong for our wonderful seniors at Open Door.

Relationship Journey Groups

This is the small group ministry of Open Door, and it is all about Relationship and Discipleship. Believers need each other, but sometimes we become content with only connecting on Sunday mornings. These groups are an integral part of building relationships with each other that goes beyond Sunday mornings. In these groups you will find an intimate community, practical help, and spiritual interaction.

Ministry Opportunities

At our church, we want to see people grow from consumers to producers. We encourage believers to use their talents and abilities for God’s kingdom, benefit and glory. Some of our ministries include: Prayer, Connections, Benevolence, Children/Students, Media/Worship, Security, and Outreach.
